Do you need sensors?
A short checklist for deciding whether your site needs indoor sensors installed.
Sensors are required when the BMS doesn't already expose the readings we need to control ventilation. This checklist covers the common cases.
You need sensors when…
- No BMS at all → install sensors and our control hardware.
- BMS reads but does not expose room-level temperature, CO₂, or humidity → install sensors to fill those gaps.
- BMS exposes some zones but not others → partial sensor coverage on the uncovered zones is fine.
You can skip sensors when…
Coverage rule of thumb
One sensor per controlled zone, or roughly one per 50 m². Adjust based on zone use — a busy meeting room may need its own; a small office can share with neighbours.
