What if your BMS isn't supported yet?
Three options when we do not yet have a direct integration for your BMS.
Not every site has a BMS we already integrate with. If you have identified the vendor and it is not listed in the BMS overview, you still have three good paths forward.
Option 1 — Add sensors and skip the BMS for now
You can run a useful subset of the platform without any BMS connection: install indoor sensors, and we will monitor air quality, temperature, and occupancy patterns while producing reports and recommendations. We just cannot close the loop and write setpoints. This is also a good interim setup while a BMS integration is being scoped, because the sensors start producing useful data from day one. The "Do you need sensors?" guide under Sensors covers when this is the right choice.
Option 2 — Install our control hardware
If your site has no usable BMS, or the existing BMS does not support remote setpoint changes, we can install our own gateway alongside the air handling units and heating or cooling equipment. This is coordinated with us case by case; building size, existing wiring, and equipment all matter. The "When you need our control hardware" guide under Hardware gives you the conversation starter.
Option 3 — Request a new BMS integration
If your BMS has an open interface, such as REST API, MQTT, BACnet, Modbus, or OPC UA, there is a good chance we can integrate with it. New integrations are prioritised based on how many sites need them and how open the interface is. To start the conversation, send us:
- The brand and model of the BMS / controllers.
- Any API or interface documentation you have access to (PDFs, vendor docs, links).
- Whether you only need read access (monitoring) or also write access (setpoint control).
- How many sites would benefit from the integration in the short term.
